2018 5K for Affordable Housing

 

Thank you to everyone who made our first annual CFH 5k for Affordable Housing honoring Fr. Gerard Creedon such a success.

Put Your Feet to the Pavement for a Great Cause

Come out and support our four-decade mission to provide sustainable affordable housing and critical life skills training to help set individuals and families on a path of self-sufficiency. CFH also provides downpayment and security deposit assistance, and recently purchased and is renovating East End Mobile Home Park in Manassas, saving 300 of our neighbors from eviction.This year’s race honors the memory of CFH founder Fr. Gerard Creedon, who devoted his life to improving opportunities for those less fortunate, on the 50th anniversary of his June 16, 1968, ordination.

The Course

This 5K (3.1 mile) course will wind through the beautiful scenery at historic Bull Run Regional Park in Centreville, Virginia.

$20.00 pre-registration ages 10-18
$30.00 pre-registration

$35.00 day of registration

Register online at potomac.enmotive.com, where races are listed chronologically, Just click the 5K for Affordable Housing on June 16, then follow the prompts to register and pay via the website. Details on race packet pick-up will be provided the first week of June.

Catholics for Housing provides a continuum of housing through life skills training, senior rental assistance in Fairfax County, down payment assistance in Prince William, Fairfax, Arlington and Loudoun Counties, security deposit assistance, rental homes in Vienna, Arlington, Fairfax and Fredericksburg and homeownership opportunities.”
