NEW: Loudoun County Security Deposit Assistance
CFH is pleased to offer Security Deposit Assistance for 15 eligible Loudoun County households, helping individuals and families overcome one of the biggest barriers to securing stable housing.
This program provides up to $1,000 in assistance for households moving into a new rental home in Loudoun County. All payments are made directly to the landlord, with checks issued in the landlord’s name and sent directly to them.
Funding is limited and available to those who meet specific eligibility criteria, including income requirements and the ability to sustain monthly rent.
To help ensure long-term impact, assistance is structured as a short-term, no-interest repayment over time—allowing funds to support future households in need.
Key eligibility requirements include:
- Household income at or below 50% of Area Median Income (AMI)
- Income of at least 2x the monthly rent
- Moving into a new rental home or apartment in Loudoun County
- Voucher holders are eligible
- Previous participants must have repaid prior assistance
This program is made possible through funding from the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties.
