CFH Hosts Scholarship Presentation for Deserving Youth

CFH recently hosted a scholarship presentation to award two college students, Daniel Mendoza and Bristen Umberger, the Jimmy D. Russel Scholarship from the Virginia Manufactured and Modular Housing Association. The scholarships were presented during a week long mentorship program led by Board President Charlie Einsmann, with students gaining knowledge of the real estate investment industry. Manassas Mayor Michelle Davis-Younger joined the presentation alongside Board President Einsmann, Executive Director George Davies and the rest of the CFH staff.

Daniel Mendoza, an East End resident, is in his second year at Northern Virginia Community College and on track to graduate with an Associates of Applied Science in Nursing. He is currently working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at UVA Prince William Hospital in Manassas. Bristen Umberger is a 17-year-old Culpepper resident who will be attending Randolph-Macon College in Ashland this fall. His major of choice is Criminal Justice and he will also be playing football for Randolph Macon.

Congratulations to these deserving young men!
